Love is......

......patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:4-13

Holiday's here and gone

Our holiday season has entered and left with a bang!
Starting in early December with our Church hosting the "Town of Bethlehem" at the local Christmas festival. I helped out in the candle shop and the kids were apart of the Jewish dancing. Jacie got to be an angle and just LOVED it.

Of course basketball doesn't take much of a holiday, we were traveling and playing all but one week of December. Both the boy's and girl's teams are doing so good. Were told by many of the parents that the girls haven't done this good in 10 years here at Hill Country. It's so fun to watch them.

The weekend of Christmas was a very busy one for us, we traveled 3 day's straight, us and the 2 doggies, in order to make it to all the family gatherings. It was so great to see everyone. I wish we could have more get togethers throughout the year.

So now it's back to settling in with the new semesters schedule. Never a dull moment in our house :~). I know one day I will look back and miss all this craziness that is my life right now !!
